Tyrrell Field Station Visitors Centre
Dinosaur Provincial Park, Alberta, LEED® Gold Certified

Designed in association with DesignWorks Architecture and funded in large part through Alberta Community Development Parks and Protected Services, this project is one of Alberta's Centennial Legacy projects. The building was constructed in 1988 and was intended for use as a field station for paleontologists conducting field work and research. The facility has enhanced its role and required an expansion to accommodate the increasing number of visitors to the station. The expansion doubled the size of the existing building and incorporated much needed reception and programming spaces, exhibit spaces, gift shop and increased staff work areas. This project has achieved LEED® Gold Certification.
