The Crestwood Affordable Housing project is a 60-unit complex designed with a sustainable focus balanced with the core deliverable of affordability. The Sustainable Design initiatives of this facility have been achieved utilizing the LEED® rating as a guideline and was influenced by an overall desire to reduce maintenance costs and resource consumption. The 60 unit, 850 sq. ft. building, initiated jointly by The City of Calgary and Calgary Housing Company has succeeded in meeting its intended goal of accommodating the target group.
