City of Powell River Fire Hall Concept
This project involves the construction of a 4-Bay Tandem fire hall that exceeds Post-Disaster Structural Standards. It also aligns with the City of Powell River’s Green Buildings Policy, aiming to meet the energy requirements of Step Code 3 of the BC Energy Step Codes. A significant challenge for this project was addressing the difficult site grades. The current design addresses this by placing the administration offices on a lower level, effectively integrating a required retaining wall into the building's design.
