Richmond Road Diagnostic and Treatment Centre - Alberta Health Services
This project involved a three-phase redevelopment of the former Alberta Children's Hospital. The first phase, starting in 2005, included a building audit and feasibility study that focused on consolidating health programs into the facility. This resulted in a Master Plan for a 213,836 sf. outpatient care facility designed for diagnostic services, teaching, and research, without overnight stays or inpatient beds. The project scope included developing functional programs for 19 approved health services, schematic planning, support service identification, and a construction phasing plan. Phase three was completed in 2011, followed by a 5,920 sf. renovation for Grief Services, finished in March 2012.
