Vanderhoof Cultural Centre

The Vanderhoof Cultural Centre serves as a culturally significant experience, offering workshops, events, and exhibits that celebrate local history and artistry. With a versatile multi-use space and energy-efficient fixtures, it showcases valuable artifacts and art from the Saik’uz First Nation, providing a unique educational experience. Designed by SAHURI with Datoff Bros. Construction and the District of Vanderhoof, the building combines traditional and contemporary elements, drawing inspiration from Indigenous pit houses to enhance storytelling and cultural activities. This project underscores the importance of investing in community and cultural infrastructure for future generations.
